Senior Alarm/cctv Technician

The **Senior Technician** will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of various security systems, provide technical support to junior technicians, and collaborate closely with both staff and management to deliver top-notch security solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of alarm systems, including but not limited to Texecom, FBI, IDS, Paradox, AJAX, and DSC brands.
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, with particular knowledge of Dahua, Provision, and Hikvision systems.
- Provide guidance and leadership to technical teams, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Conduct technical assessments, recommend system upgrades, and advise on best installation practices.
- Respond to service calls, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Prepare reports and document all service and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with Zonewatch staff, clients, and management to assess system needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Train and mentor junior staff to develop technical expertise across the team.

**Requirements**:

- **PSIRA Qualified**: Must possess a valid PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) registration.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 10 years in security system installation and maintenance, with extensive knowledge of alarm and CCTV systems.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Adept in handling and programming various alarm brands, including Texecom, FBI, IDS, Paradox, AJAX, and DSC.
- **CCTV Expertise**: Proficient in installing and troubleshooting CCTV systems, specifically Dahua, Provision, and Hikvision.
- **Driver’s License**: A valid driver’s license is required, with a clean driving record.
- **Communication Skills**: Must be fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, management, and team members.
- **Team Collaboration**: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cooperatively and provide mentorship when needed.
