Key responsibilities include:

- **Strategy development**:
Defining the overall social media strategy, setting goals, identifying target audiences, and choosing appropriate platforms to reach them.
- **Content creation and curation**:
Generating engaging content like text, images, videos, and stories across various social media platforms, including original content creation and curating relevant external content.
- **Campaign management**:
Planning and executing social media campaigns aligned with marketing objectives, including but not limited to promotions, contests and influencer collaborations.
- **Community engagement**:
Actively interacting with followers by responding to comments, messages, and addressing customer inquiries.
- **Analytics and reporting**:
Monitoring social media performance using analytics tools, tracking key metrics like reach, impressions, engagement, and conversions, and providing actionable insights to optimize strategies.
- **Trend analysis**:
Staying updated on emerging social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to incorporate into the strategy. Implement changes, adjustments and new initiatives based on outcomes of trend analysis.
- **Collaboration**:
Working closely with other teams & individuals in the business to ensure alignment across channels.

**Skills and qualifications**:

- Diploma / Degree in Digital Marketing / Marketing / Advertising & Communications
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their functionalities
- Excellent content creation and writing skills
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools and SEO
- Creative thinking and ability to generate engaging content
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage online communities & in-person business relationships
- Understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices
- Ability to adapt to evolving social media trends
- Ability to use initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and produce quality outcomes

**Salary** - Market Related (based on level of experience & expertise)
