- 5 -10 years’ post articles experience in a medium sized company
- Experience with full finance function
- IFRS
- Consolidation
- Accounting
- Companies, Income tax, VAT Act knowledge
- King Report
- Good Governance Practices
- Tax
- Exposure to legal agreements

**Responsibilities**:

- Draft Annual Financial Statement
- Working with the auditors to oversee the audit process
- Ensure the smooth and effective running of the Finance Department
- Authorise Credit Agreements on behalf of the Schools Division after being vetted and approved by Group Legal
- Ensure the Schools complies with IFRS and GAAP, group policies and statutory requirements
- Ensures alignment of financial and operational policies and procedures across brands within the division which is in line with Group Requirements
- Responsible for taxation of the company
- Manage and forecast Cash flow of the Schools, with strong emphasis on working capital management
- Take responsibility for the Internal audit review for Schools
- Delegation and control of staff (Daily Management, Hiring of Staff, Appraisal of Staff)
- Provides a support function to all other Schools’ Division Head Office Teams and Group Finance & IT where necessary
