HR Office Assistant

This role will provide administrative support to the Practice/Human Resources Manager, including timely and accurate delivery of day to day support for the Practice manager and employees. The list of duties below is not exhaustive, the post holder is obliged to carry out any reasonable / lawful instruction given by the Employer.
**Talent Acquisition**
- Assist with day to day operations of the HR and Operational functions and duties
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources/Practice management
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
- Coordinate HR and general office projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
- Assist with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
- Communicate with public services when necessary
- Properly assist with complaints and grievance procedures
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
- Ensure Statutory bodies registrations are vaild ie. HPCSA and ensure new recruits are registered with statutory bodies, e.g. MPS, HPCSA etc.
- Ensure probation progress reports of new staff are completed and submitted to the Practice Manager at the end of each month.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an HR/Office Assistant
- Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)
- Basic knowledge of labor laws
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communications skills
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources
**Job Type**: Permanent
Pay: R2 500,00 - R3 500,00 per month
