**What will you be doing**:
Your work will focus on these main responsibilities
- Performs (storekeeping) tasks in accordance with the instructions.
- Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods, purchase orders and invoices.
- Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
- Pick and deliver goods according to relevant logistics process.
- Pack, label, and dispatch outgoing goods with relevant documents.
- Maintain Wärtsilä or customer inventory complete, counted and in correct conditions
- Maintain logistics data to relevant systems to maintain up-to-date stock and inventory records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on stock transfer, inventory levels or delivery schedules.)
- Perform other routine office activities according to the organization’s established procedures. These activities may include updating stock cards and inventory records; and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.
- Operate forklifts and/or other warehouse machinery according to process
- Ensure that the work is executed according to Wartsila Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
- Keep the store or warehouse area in clean-cut condition according to guidelines to ensure work safety and ergonomics
- Cooperate and interact with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Perform all activities needed to reach the objectives of the position and comply with the orders, instructions, values and company policies applicable as employee and/or the position.

- Required Forklift certified (Beneficial)
- Some experience in logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management
- Highly motivated
- Initiative to improve warehouse processes
- Good problem-solving skills
- Well organized
- Good communication and cooperation skills
- Team player attitude internally and externally
- Some experience in handling transport bookings is seen as a benefit
- Some knowledge of computer software programs.
- Good spoken and written English skills.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Computer literate
- Forklift License and Overhead crane license (beneficial)
- Driver’s license (Essential)
- Some experience in logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management
