What To Expect

  • Working in a team you will gain exposure to every aspect of value retail - from Buying, Planning and Marketing to Supply Chain and Store Operations to name but a few.
  • A learning journey which incorporates on-the-job training, classroom sessions and assessments to monitor and develop your progress.
  • Learn to develop new and review existing quality standards and specifications for Sleepwear, Underwear, Lingerie and Swimwear products.
  • Assess the implementation of standards and specifications to ensure consistent compliance.
  • Work closely with the team of Buyers to deliver unequalled value in all of our intimate products.
  • Exposure to manufacturing and product development in specialized areas
  • Gain working knowledge of quality and product assessment principles & practices
  • Learn how to compile technical briefs
  • Develop and master your pattern making and grading skills
  • Expect to be coached by the industry's most successful professionals, who will help you acquire the business skills you need to build a successful career in Product Technology.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?

  • Relevant qualification in Clothing Management or Fashion Design
  • 2 years experience within a fashion manufacturing sample room environment Or at least 2 years experience of pattern making
  • A passion for garment construction and quality of products
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fantastic planning and organising abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • The ability to adapt in a fast paced environment
  • Resilience and the ability to thrive under pressure
  • Be open to continuous learning
