**Purpose**

To monitor, manage, conduct and quality control process audits, sampling unfit and fit product using the on-line and off-line quality inspection systems and take corrective actions when inspection results deviate from the expected output.

**Key Responsibilities (not limited to)**:

- Ensure the in-line and offline inspection systems are always aligned to customer requirements and that the systems function effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor the settings of the inspection systems, quality output and make necessary adjustments to the system
- Conduct visual inspection and process sampling sheets through Proxima-O and Proxima-I inspection system and advice printers to adjust when necessary.
- Adhere to daily and weekly production and quality control plans, maintain proper control of reference sheets & quality records and escalate the quality issues being experienced to the supervisor.
- Keep up-to-date with the quality control plans, customer’s quality requirements and specifications.
- Ensure that in-line and off-line inspection systems are calibrated, clean and autonomous maintenance conducted.
- Identify process risks and implement effective controls in line with the specifications & customer requirements, ensure compliance to policies, procedures, processes and relevant legislation.
- Ensure non-conformances are raised for identified deviations, participate in root cause analysis of product and /or process quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure that all Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) and Quality regulations and standards are adhered to in line with the legal requirements.
- ** **Grade 12 with Maths and Science
- Higher Certificate in Information Systems Data Analytics or equivalent
- Certification on relevant Inspection Systems Security Printing and Total Quality Management (TQM) will be an added advantage
- 3-5 years’ experience in quality control or security printing
