- Maintain a system for the accurate control and expediting of projects related tasks
- Provide input to Safety, Health, Environment, Production and Quality for the projects department
- Capture work orders feedback accurately, including hours of all people who worked on the job, defects found, defect causes, readings, service entries, etc
- Capturing data and compiling of data books for each project
- Source materials and expediting delivery thereof
- Follow up with Foremen, Artisans, etc. on project / task progress and updating of the project plans
- Participate in meetings and take minutes of meetings within the section
- Assist with any other clerical work, systems or reports approved by the Project manager
- Ensure that projects department workers are booked for relevant training and annual medicals on time
- Ensures the full functionality of the systems used by projects department.
- Ensures appropriate report generation from the system to inform management decision making
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Grade 12/Std10/N3 or relevant NQF Level 4 qualification with maths or numeracy
- Preferred NQF4 qualification in Office Administration or Secretarial
- Sound knowledge of projects environment
- Year plus office administration experience in the following environments: operations/ Manufacturing
