Payroll Manager

Our client has an opportunity available for a Payroll Manager based in Fourways.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Certified Payroll Professional Designation would be preferred.
- 3 to 5 years related and managerial or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal rules and laws.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing.
- Knowledge of the payroll function including balancing, payroll taxes, etc.
**Responsibilities**:
- Compile and submit monthly payroll costing report to divisional managers.
- Oversee the submission of monthly, bi-annual, and annual statutory submissions.
- Submission of the annual ROE COID assessment annually.
- Making sure that the department is kept abreast of the statutory changes that affect the department.
- Implement adequate financial controls to mitigate payment risks.
- Assist other team members find solutions and resolve issues as they arise.
- Be part of task groups and project teams as required and work with the wider team to deliver as required.
- Build and maintain positive relationships throughout the company’s divisions and global footprints.
- Keep up to date with changes in accounting standards, taxation laws and software updates.
