GENERAL:
Greendoor Fleet Controller ensure excellent customer service by providing accurate and reliable information for planning and forecasting. Meticulously coordinate driver activities, manage loads, and monitor vehicles to ensure efficient and timely operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
**Driver briefing and dispatch**:

- Verify and ensure the validity and expiry of driver documents.
- Compile driver files, including vehicle documents, for approval before dispatch.
- Coordinate fuel orders and ensure completion of necessary load documents.
- Complete leave forms as required.

**Load management**:

- Check load allocations in the VR and execute load requirements as planned.
- Confirm equipment requirements and coordinate with the Equipment Manager for planning.
- Complete vehicle files before dispatch whenever possible.

**Vehicle tracking and follow-up**:

- Track vehicles/drivers en-route and monitor loading, offloading, border transit, and workshop activities.
- Daily follow-up on driver and vehicle en-route, including resolving queries and issues.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on delays, accidents, breakdowns, and other relevant incidents.

**Monthly and daily duties**:

- Execute monthly duties such as driver allocations and spot checks on monthly kilometres.
- Daily actions in the Fleet Management System (FMS) including loading, dispatching, arrivals, and exception reports.

**Standby/On call**:

- Monitor security and driver groups, ensuring the safety of all units.
- Address fines, overloads, load shifts, and implement operational requirements as needed.
- FMS/Magic Eye Rules:

- Adhere to the specified target transit times for each designated point and promptly report and escalate any deviations.
- Implement constant monitoring and follow-up with drivers throughout the day to achieve set targets.
- Ensure compliance with established KPIs and report any deviations within the stipulated timeframe.

- Background/Technical Competences

BACKGROUND/TECHNICAL COMPETENCES:

- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Advantageous to have a Road Transport or Logistics Diploma
- Must have previous experience in a similar environment, minimum of 2-3 years.
- Must be computer literate.
- Familiarity with Fleet Management Systems
- Data capturing ability

WORKING HOURS

07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday.

Weekends: Rotational Shifts.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Clayville, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- Fleet Controller/ Fleet Officer/ Fleet Administrator: 2 years (required)
- Cross Border Logistics and Transportation: 1 year (preferred)

Pay: R10,00 - R20,00 per month
