**ROLE OVERVIEW**

The Control Room Operator monitors fleet movement to ensure safety and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and prevent incidents.

**OUTLINE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Tracking of vehicles.
- Ensure all tracking units are updating.
- Monitor and report route deviations and violations.
- Monitor and report out of shift driving.
- Monitor vehicles with high-risk cargo on an hourly basis.
- Coordinate convoy allocations together with the Operations Department.
- Monitor convoys and ensure SOPs are adhered to.
- Follow emergency procedure protocols.
- Manage and report incidents and accidents.
- Attend to any other assigned tasks as per instruction from Management.

**BACKGROUND/TECHNICAL COMPETENCES**
- Grade 12 National Senior Certificate
- Relevant experience in a similar role within the Transport / Tracking / Control Room industry.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products

**WORKING HOURS**

12-hour shifts as per the roster.
- Day Shift: 06:00 - 18:00
- Night Shift: 18:00 - 06:00

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R10,00 - R20,00 per month
