The position will be for a fixed-term period of 12 months.

**Qualifications and Skills required**:

- PhD in Biological Sciences or relevant field of expertise
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in research project management
- Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP)
- Stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrable ability to secure research funding
- Time management

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Project standardisation_
- Advise and assist clients with experimental design, study planning, project management
- Improve communication between CPGR and their academic project stakeholders;
- Review and finalise all project documentation Analytical Study Plan (ASP),
- Budget Template, Quality Control Report, and Analytical Report for academic projects;
- SOP generation, policy generation (when required);
- Review budgets associated with all platform relevant academic workflows (Costing budgets);
- Liaise with suppliers in order to achieve standard and fixed costing for general workflows across the platforms;
- Complete project reviews of all academic projects
- Resolve client complaints;
- Maintain an excellent level of platform relevant know-how, including relevant technology and scientific trends;
- Monthly and quarterly reports of academic metrics;
- Generate publication / White paper / Application note;
- Project support_
- Implement and monitor new ideas (innovation);
- Liaise between existing/potential clients and Platform Managers and Senior Technicians;
- Expedite client feedback;
- Monitor project value chain of registered and accepted projects;
- Attend academic conferences and forums to market CPGR capabilities to researchers.
- Laboratory support_
- Assist with set up and implementation of LIMS;
- Ensure LIMS is kept up to date with all relevant documentation;
- Assist with internal and external training where necessary;
- Collaborative projects - Project proposals_
- Write project proposals for collaborative projects for international funding opportunities;
- Create and maintain a network of stakeholders for collaborative forums;
- Stakeholder engagement (academic) - Conferences (have to see a return on investment - invited speaker), forums, co-supervisor on projects, be part of all service project engagement;
- Be able to take a project from consultation to result delivery.

**Advantageous**:

- Track record of article publications;
- Practical experience in quality management systems, such as ISO 9001:2008
- and 2015, ISO 15189 or 17025.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
