Senior Associate: Strategic Client Solutions

**Job Purpose**
- To support the Sales and Product teams in acquiring strategic banking clients in line with the Corporate and Investment Banking strategies; the primary focus being on the Transactional Banking suite of solutions. Critical to this is the ability to use various data and reference points to analyse the end-to-end client value chain and construct targeted banking solutions that meet the client’s banking operational and strategic needs in order to win the business or extend existing relationships.**Responsibilities**:
- Create and supply high quality banking solutions for CIB and Business Banking clients that meet the client needs by leveraging internal and partner banking solutions
- Prepare high quality proposals, RFI’s and RFP’s for all areas of the bank. This is for both the public and private sector
- Innovatively formulate, structure and finalise value propositions and business solutions across the client value chain
- Operate and propose solutions across all channels within the bank, including Retail, Business Banking and CIB
- Be the intermediary driving and managing the process between sales and product where unique or bespoke solution are required by both CIB and Business Banking clients
- Solve complex client and market needs by identify the key success factors and translating them into innovative, and packaged banking solutions
- Stay abreast of traditional and non-traditional competitor activity
- Drive towards achievement of core transactional banking targets through strategic partnerships with traditional banking clients as well new clients based on the emergence of new Digital and Fintech market players.
- Identify and execute on transformational activities that will improve the business
- Create management reports and dashboard to track progress
- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Preferred Qualification- Post-graduate qualification in Business- Preferred Certifications- Minimum Experience Level- At least 5 years Product, Sales or Coverage roles at a middle management level.
- Experience and knowledge of banking products, payment and channel systems preferred
- General understanding of Transactional banking products for juristic clients
