We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our power plant operations team and help ensure the optimal performance, maintenance, and safety of our mechanical systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on turbines, pumps, valves, compressors, and other mechanical plant equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
- Assist in mechanical system installations, upgrades, and overhauls.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
- Follow safety standards, plant procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and control room staff to troubleshoot operational issues.

**Requirements**:

- Mechanical Engineering qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a power station environment.
- Strong knowledge of rotating machinery, hydraulic systems, and pressure systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
