Data Analyst: Fleet Department

Monthly fleet mix forecasting
- Develop statistical models as required
- Perform analysis of the data
- Liaise with fleet adjust committee in order to forecast optimal fleet mix
- Analyse fleet mix and trends per location
- Generate, validate and analyse vehicle sales trends and profitability
- Consolidate the new vehicle prices and discounts in order to make optimal purchasing decisions
- Liaise with the regional operations managers in order to forecast their regional business
- Annual Forecasting
- Assist with providing input into the regional and national financial budget process
- Assist with fleet forecasting plan 0, 1, 2 and 3 quarterly
- Forecast and document the fleet trends and changes thereto
- Report on progression and performance of forecasts at fleet adjust meetings
- Provide ad hoc reports as requested
- Provide monthly reports to operation
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key Operations managers
- Share technical knowledge and insight with internal customer to enhance decision making
- Attend fleet adjust meetings monthly as per scheduled date
- Attend daily MDI huddles and other team meetings as required
- Attend Operations huddles and team meetings to provide demand insight

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Mathematics or Statistics
- Valid drivers license
- Exposure to optimising software and cost accounting models
- 3-5 years experience in corporate business
- Computer, technology and systems skills (Advanced level of Excel, Statistica, SAS and other statistical software)
- Deductive reasoning skills
- Inductive reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate technical issues to a non-technical audience at all levels of the organisation
- Developed internal resilience (EQ) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly developed analytical and diagnostic skills
