We are a fast-paced car rental business with a dynamic and engaging environment currently seeking to fill the fleet assistant position. We are looking for strong, hardworking individuals that have a strong POSITIVE work ethic. Monitoring, managing and maintaining of all the fleet vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are safe, maintained and in a rentable condition at all times. **Experience**:

- Must have a Qualification/studied in the fleet industry or similar
- Minimum 2-3 years experience as a fleet assistant or similar field

**Requirements**:
**Valid drivers license with minimum 5 years experience.**
- Dress code smart, well presentable at all times and having a high level of hygiene.
- Own vehicle and a valid drivers license.
- Ability to schedule repairs/maintenance strategically
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Ability to analyze large sets of data and draw conclusions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability train new employees
- Innovative
- Basic to advanced knowledge of vehicles
- Customer service skills
- Ensure reports are accurate and on time
- Work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment

- **Duties & Responsibilities**:_
- Ensuring vehicle services, maintenance, license disc renewals are up to date and that the vehicle is in a roadworthy/safe state at all times.
- Vehicle tracking. Liaising with the tracking company, ensuring the safety of the vehicles, presenting reports to management.
- Maintain departmental compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure departmental adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Record keeping.
- Negotiate with suppliers.
- Resolve disputes.
- Analyze the effectiveness of operations.
- Cost efficiency
- Customer queries & customer relations
- General admin
- Arrange collections and deliveries at the depot.
- Perform vehicle registration, insurance and tracker formalities and documentation regarding induction of new vehicles in existing fleet.
- Anything pertaining to the fleet.
- Anything else requested by management.

Salary is Gross - Based on experience & interview.

Monday - Friday - 6:45am - 5pm

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: Up to R10,000.00 per month
