**POSITION PURPOSE**

To manage and support the portfolio on technical electrical maintenance and repairs according to industry standards and company requirements.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES OF THE TECHNICIAN**

1. Technical Service Support
Provide hard technical service in the electrical environment including but not limited to electrical maintenance and electrical installations.

2. Preventative Maintenance and Asset Verifications.
As and when required follow the company and client requirements to utilise all digital platforms to capture required data and asset verification to ensure reporting can be obtained.

3. Quote management.
Obtain quotes as and when so required.
Managed the process to ensure timelines are met and the client / Broll are informed at all times on the progress of corrective work.

4. Manage feedback.
Update the Broll system or client daily to add comments on the level of completion of outstanding work instructions.
Close WI on the digital platform immediately upon completion to ensure SLA timelines are met.

5. Work hours will be agreed upon as to the client requirements and disclosed in the contract and job offer.
7. Ensure all documentation are completed correctly and on time as to the client’s / Broll requirements.
8. All work are to be completed as to the applicable legislations, quality standards and SANS codes governing the electrical trade.

**PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS**

The SLA with our client will be used as a measurement of performance as well as the feedback on assessments from management and reporting structures.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Grade 12 - Matric
Electrical Trade Test
Valid Driver’s License

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Must have computer skills, know IT management systems, reporting, and meeting.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Technical and administrative experience

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Well organized and detail oriented.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Cooperative and willing to assist others.
Excellent Communication Skills
Administration Skills
Dependable
Computer Skills
Flexible
Good Interpersonal Skills
Able to use PC, calculator, and other basic business machines.
