Job Description
To provide legal solutions to legal and business challenges within a business area, to mitigate legal risks and partner with the business on the implementation of policies to comply with legal and regulatory requirements in relation to business processes.
To consult with internal clients to understand business requirements and provide sound legal advice pertaining to the drafting, vetting, review, dissemination and/or negotiation of legal documentation and processes, providing clear legal direction based on sound judgment.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Legal Advisor to join our team at FNB. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic procurement initiatives within a collaborative and innovative legal environment.
Are you someone who can:
- Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts from inception to implementation.
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to support integrated legal solutions.
- Develop tactical strategies aligned with functional objectives in collaboration with leadership.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and legal frameworks.
- Provide proactive legal advice based on current legislation and industry best practices.
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes and assess their impact on procurement operations.
- LLB or LLM degree.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar legal environment, with at least 1-2 years at a junior specialist level.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, particularly in commercial and IT-related agreements (e.g., software, cloud, SaaS; PaaS etc.).
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
