Our CX Domain team is looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic Research Executive to join us in delivering excellence to our clients. In this role, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of a CX tracking program for one of Kantar South Africa’s top 10 corporate clients. You will manage the day-to-day tasks and deliverables required for the project working in conjunction with a small research team and a project management team. You will be integrally involved in all aspects of the project, including client meetings and conversations. Report writing is a key part of the job and being a skilled storyteller will be an added bonus, but this is not essential to the position. What we are really looking for is someone with a market research background who also has excellent project management skills.
You will suit this role if you are passionate about customer experience, brands and research in general. You will also need to be super-organised and efficient, manage your time well, detail oriented, confident and be able to work under some degree of pressure.
**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
- Ensure the seamless running of the project on a day-to-day basis, with all deliverables being met to the highest standard possible
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the project and project deadlines and work in partnership with the project management team to execute tasks and deliverables timeously, efficiently and profitablyand to continuously think of smarter and better ways to execute and optimise deliverables
- Provide support to the project management team on their tasks when needed to ensure smooth running of the project and adherence to timelines
- Be involved in the day-to-day business conversations / interactions with the client under the guidance of a senior team member - including meetings, regular catch-up calls and weekly status updates on the project. You will need to be hands-on and up to speed on project progress at any stage to be in a position to provide necessary feedback or updates when required
- Have a financial mindset and be able to review job costs and the impact of these on financial results
- Take full ownership of tasks and be accountable for them; be able to work independently where required
- Be able to put together Powerpoint presentations of the data. Pulling insights from the data and good storytelling skills will be an added bonus,
- Be people orientated and enjoy working in a team and under the guidance of a senior team member
- Work on other components of the tracking project, or other CX projects, where required to do so
- Have a passion for customer experience that reflects through in the way that you work on the project and engage with both internal and external clients
**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**
- Completed tertiary education - degree in Marketing, e.g. B Com/B Bus Sc (preferably Hons)
- Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in the market research industry is essential
- Analytical ability with proven numeracy skills (skills will be tested)
- Computer literacy - proficiency in all MS Office packages
- Business writing skills
- Basic commercial skills (cost and time management)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent quantitative practitioner with a curious mindand thirst for knowledge and learning
- Exceptional English communication (written and verbally). Be able to communicate confidently across departments as well as with client
