**Warehouse Manager**

**PURPOSE OF JOB**

**THE WAREHOUSE MANAGER IS FULLY ACCOUNTABLE FOR ACCURATE RECORDING OF ALL STOCK MOVEMENT TRANSACTIONS**

**REPORTING LINE : BRANCH/STORE MANAGER**

**Responsibilities**:

- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and procedures
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilisation
- Initiate, co-ordinate, and enforce operational policies and procedures
- Adhere to warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Ensure that all Stocks are safely stored and no damage incurred
- Liase with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
- Plan Work Rosters, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT Status report, dead stock report etc.)
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
- Coaches, monitors, develops, and motivates Warehouse TEAM for High Performance
- Maintains a pro-active relationship with MBG External Security in joint recording of Stock Movement independently
- **KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**
- A Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
- Proven Work Experience as a Warehouse Manager
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Hands on experience with Warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership Skills and ability to manage staff
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- TEAM LEADER with Excellent Communication Skills
