- Area of Accountability Main Activities

1. People Management- Propose resource requirements and appropriate organizational structure to meet the strategic missions, critical success factors and business outcomes for the department Manage and supports the recruitment of staff with the right experience, competencies and fit with the Virbac culture- Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to direct reports in order to ensure they meet the expectations of performance, and to develop and support them in their role- Ensure the implementation of:

- proper performance definition (job description and objectives), evaluation (regular feedback, annual performance review and other appropriate performance management measures), reward and recognition and training and development processes (Individual development plans as appropriate)- Ensure the communication and understanding of the company’s vision, values, culture and strategy, and fosters a positive, motivating working environment for all employees- Assist in the implementation of programs to improve employee and team performance, satisfaction and retention Contribute to succession planning Encourage and facilitates interdepartmental team work- Ensure the department proactively participates in all environmental, health and safety initiatives and complies with required policies and standards

2. Inventory Management- Ensure efficient storage and handling of inventory to prevent financial loss in accordance with cGMP and cGWP procedures- Have oversight of Virbac inventory stored at external warehouses and contract manufacturers: conduct period stock counts at these warehouse manage the process for stock movement between the warehouse- Ensures that all preparation (cycle counts, pre-counting of relevant bins) are completed to ensure for stock take readiness- Prevent stock losses due to damage or security breaches by keeping high risk cages locked at all times and working with Facility Manager to 04-08-22 coordinate random checks- Ensures high value and high scheduled medicine is stored and handled appropriately, as required by relevant SOPs Complete Stock Transfers, stock adjustments and Bin movements on Movex to ensure accuracy of physical and system in collaboration with the Warehouse Team Leaders and Stock Controller- Ensure that, Periodic stock verification through cycle counts is completed monthly by the Storemen- Investigate discrepancies in stock and provide feedback to the IO Manager- Bin Consolidation is completed to optimize warehouse space- Prevent stock losses due to damage or security breaches by keeping high risk cages locked at all times In collaboration with Supply Chain manager:
- Ensure that expired goods are blocked from sale and are removed for destruction In collaboration with Customer Service Manager- Ensure that credit claims are processed timeously and customer queries related to them are addressed

3. Receiving Warehouse Management- Ensuring that there are processes in place for receiving products and materials compliance to cGxP requirements- Have oversight of the receiving warehouse functions in collaboration with the Warehouse Team Leaders to ensure that: Periodic stock verification through cycle counts and stock are completed monthly by the Storemen.- Investigate discrepancies in stock and provide feedback to the IO Manager- Bin Consolidation is completed to optimize warehouse space- Prevent stock losses due to damage or security breaches by keeping high risk cages locked at all times- Ensure that picking and packing of Manufacturing works orders is executed as planned, deviations from the plan to be communicated to the IO Manager- Provides regular feedback to Industrial Operations Manager on output progress
