**Job Purpose**:
As an International Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing materials and services from international suppliers, managing logistics and freight, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations and bond storage requirements. Leveraging your expertise in international procurement and ERP system management, you will streamline procurement processes and optimise supply chain operations across borders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies for international sourcing of materials and components.
- Identify and evaluate international suppliers and negotiate contracts and terms for procurement.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to manage international shipments and customs clearance.
- Arrange bond storage and oversee inventory management for imported materials.
- Implement and maintain ERP system for international procurement functions, including vendor management and purchase orders.
- Monitor and track international shipments to ensure on-time delivery and minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import/export laws, and trade agreements.
- Analyse landed costs and total cost of ownership to optimize sourcing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align international procurement activities with production schedules and project timelines.
- Prepare and present reports on international procurement performance, cost savings, and supply chain risks.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in international procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successful ERP system implementation and management.
- Expertise in freight forwarding, bond storage, and customs clearance processes.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to navigate international trade regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.

**Salary**: Negotiable, commensurate with experience.
