**Your Role at Impact**:
The User Experience Researcher will be primarily responsible for designing, conducting, analyzing, and reporting on user-centered design research and usability testing for the Impact platform, including identification of user needs and goals, task and workflow modeling, and persona development as well as rapid iterative usability testing, and more formal, in-depth interviews. A successful User Experience Researcher must be able to work with mínimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects with various stakeholders.

**What You'll Do**:

- Facilitate research with UX team to foster an environment of shared ownership of user outcomes. Help them become better user advocates
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other cross-functional teammates to provide research that supports the objectives of the product and needs of users
- Act as a 'repository' of research-based usability knowledge
- Analyze and summarize research findings into actionable insights
- Represent the voice of the Impact customer among cross-functional partners and stakeholders by highlighting the user, their needs, and behaviors
- Implement usability testing on a pre-launch feature & communicate key, actionable insights + recommendations for design explorations that can improve the user experience
- Work with QA & Product Managers when a feature is in staging to ensure UX standards are adhered to
- Gather feedback after a feature has launched and communicate to product stakeholders so that UX issues can be addressed as soon as possible

**What You Have**:

- Relevant degree/course OR relevant experience
- 1-3 years conducting product user experience research OR strong experience working with SaaS platforms
- Ability to collaborate thoughtfully with user experience designers and product managers, balancing user needs with business constraints and outcomes
- Must be a tireless advocate for the end user. Compassionate for users everyday struggles and challenges. Put users' needs first, and be unwavering in their desire to provide the best experiences
- Experience designing, differentiating, and prioritizing different research methods (e.g. interviews, surveys, usability studies, or others) given different research goals, questions, and available resources
- Experience communicating research findings to diverse audiences through both written and in-person formats & presentations
- Experience working across the full product lifecycle
- Experience in an Agile software environment
