**Description**:
We are looking for a** **deadline driven** Implementation Consultant** for a dynamic, young company focused on information technology solutions and systems for the short-term insurance industry. The main reason for the position is for you to** act as a conduit between customers and the company**, with the exciting prospect of **working with multidisciplinary teams and clients**.

You will be filling the gap between the company and customer to ensure sales follow the pipeline from sale to delivery by **escalating** where necessary, supporting the development teams, **resolving customer conflicts and complaints**, **liaising with insurance partners** and **keeping customers update**d as to the progress of their developments.***

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Work with the sales team to plan for forthcoming engagements, running with the customers once the initial sale is completed and until handover to the operations team (once up and running).
- Perform the system setup/configuration for customer insurance products.
- Test new features to ensure the development was completed as required.
- Liaise with insurers and technology partners where relevant

**Required Skills and Behavioral Competencies**:

- Basic knowledge of the short-term insurance industry
- Solid working understanding of technology, ideally within the insurance industry (including policy administration, quoting or rating systems)
- SQL querying and scripting advantageous
- BSC Computer Science / BSC information Technology will be advantageous
- Deadline focused, driven to achieve delivery and customer satisfaction
- Attention to detail, taking pride in delivering all work to the highest standard
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to listen (e.g. to requirements), interpret and articulate effectively (e.g. explaining customer business needs to a technical development team)
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams of technical and business people
- Self-sufficient in ensuring delivery, willing to take full responsibility and ownership to ensure success
- Fluent in Afrikaans (advantageous) and English (written and verbal)
- Some travel may be required
