**INTRODUCTION**

Komatsu South Africa has an opportunity for a qualified **Manager: Machine Analytics** with the relevant project management experience to join the CI & Aftermarket team at Komatsu Head Office situated in Sunnyrock, Germiston.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
B.Degree in /ICT / Data Analysis or Information Science/ Engineering NQF level 7.

**EXPERIENCE**:
6 years’ operational experience.

3 years' leadership experience.

Proven strength in customer service/liaison.

Advanced data analysis & reporting.

**SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS**:
Valid Driver’s License.

Occupational Health & Safety Act.

MS advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI.

SAP BI Download & Analysis (an added advantage).

**SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF ROLE**:
**1. Manages the Machine Analytics Section in CS & Aftermarket Division**:

- Manages the human resources as per structure.
- Implements procedural & policy changes.
- Engages with internal stakeholders to facilitate business process flow.
- Implements special projectsMonitors results, measures & business process execution.
- Provides input to leadership on business process improvement.
- Devises corrective and preventative plansSubmits progress reports.
- Reports on special projects

**2. Change Leadership**:

- Leads change from the front by setting an example.
- Applies consistent pressure to change.
- Communicates change expectations to employees.
- Puts communication channels in place.
- Determines & categorises change risk(s).
- Collaborates with HR/Project Team.
- Leads change by taking ownership.
- Provides feedback on change initiatives and the impact on morale.

**3. Financial Planning & Budgeting**:

- Gathering data for planning process.
- Participating in budgeting committees/meetings.
- Staying abreast of deadlines for submission.

**4. Manages Staff Performance**:

- Monitors employees' performance against objectives, standards & measures agreed.
- Reports on performance management plan, implementation & metrics.

**5. Machine Analytics Management & Reporting**:

- Manages data transfers from OEM.
- Manages the provision of timeous & meaningful reports.
- Manages the machine database.
- Liaises with OEM systems stakeholders re standards/templates.
- Engage with KPS/KLTD & ICT for technical requirements.
- Monitors compliance with communications authorities licensing requirements (Group/cross-border)Monitoring data integration between systems.
- Monitoring internal machine master data.
- Checking registration detailsProvides ad hoc/regular reports to management.
- Provides data to internal stakeholders re fleet trends/analytics.
- Provides input into continuous product improvement initiatives.
- Extracts analytics insights from machine data trends.
