We are looking for a passionate and energetic Barista to join out team

The main focus will be to prepare & serve a variety of hot & cold beverages. Your main role will require you to work Front of House assisting customers with orders, serving cakes, working the till and opening & closing the store.

**Responsibilities**

Hot & Cold Drink Preparation and Service

Serving coffee and cake

Keeping the front of the bakery clean and tidy

Arranging products on the display shelves

Processing payments

Assisting customers

Stamping and organising packaging

Clean and sanitize work areas, seating areas and equipment/tools

Opening & Closing the bakery

Ensuring the correct and safe operation of the storefront at all times

Answering the company phone

**Requirements and skills**

Able to make a variety of both hot & cold coffee based drinks

Able to make a variety of non-coffee based drinks such as smoothies and milkshakes

Punctual, reliable and trustworthy

Able to manage time effectively

Ability to work both alone and in a team

Awareness of health and safety procedures

Reading skills for following instructions

Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude

Eagerness to learn and grow within the company

Flexibility to work early/late shifts

Customer service skills

The ability to work well with others

Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations

To be thorough and pay attention to detail

Sensitivity and understanding

The ability to use your initiative

Excellent verbal communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R4,500.00 - R6,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Professional Barista: 2 years (required)
- working in a professional cafe/bakery/coffee shop: 2 years (required)
