**Full job description**

We are an Awning Company based in Strijdom Park Randburg. We are looking for a skilled Patio Awning Installer to lead an Installation team for installing our range of patio Awnings at our clients’ job sites using safe & efficient methods.

**Objectives**:

- Able to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities to meet deadlines. Work independently and with mínimal supervision.
- Read blueprints, identify and prepare materials and supplies for installation.
- Safely transport materials to install sites on company vehicles and unload finished materials and equipment.
- Maintain a driver's license.
- Able to work at various heights, and to be exposed to weather conditions
- Install awnings, sunshades, canopies per drawings and specifications.
- Use the following equipment: scaffolding, elevated platforms, ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and bucket or crane trucks.
- Perform quality assurance post-production and post installation.
- Effectively communicate onsite conditions to the project management office.
- In interactions with customers and co-workers, maintain a positive attitude and high level of dependability and integrity.
- Must be available for out of town work, requiring overnight stays

- Organized, Prompt, Diligent, Self-Starter
- Able to communicate effectively, follow direction and exercise good judgment.
- Installation experience in the awning industry or construction experience.
