Ceramic Anilox Engravers Pty Ltd (CAE) is a specialist company based in Durban, Durban North that manufactures and refurbishes Anilox rollers & sleeves for the flexographic, gravure, offset, and coating industries globally.

**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Operator to join our dynamic team at Ceramic Anilox Engravers Pty Ltd in Durban. As a key player you will be responsible for operating the CNC machine, ensuring quality control, be responsible for the CNC Machine Tools and ensuring smooth operations for our manufacturing processes and working with machinery on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Running the CNC Machine.
- Set CNC Machine Tools as required for you to operate.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications with precision
- Characterize material machinability, tool holding, and select appropriate coolants
- Set tools and perform practical adjustments for optimal performance

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

- Proven experience as a CNC operator in the manufacturing environment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specs effectively.
- Practical expertise in operating and running a CNC machine.
- Experience with CNC turning and other machining processes
- Familiarity with steel manufacturing environments is advantageous
- Proficiency in CNC calculating, CAD, and CAM software.
- Knowledge of G-Codes.
- Experience with CNC machine types.
- Ability to operate as a CNC independently.
- Ability to work both day and Night Shifts.
