**Requirements**:

- 2-3 years of experience in fleet management or logistics,
- Experience with looking after and maintaining own company's fleet
- Degree or diploma in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or a related field.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Analyse and track fleet performance metrics, including fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and driver efficiency to identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching vehicles to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with local and national transportation laws and regulations, as well as company policies related to safety and operational standards.
- Work closely with maintenance teams to schedule regular servicing and inspections of vehicles, minimizing downtime and ensuring reliability.
- Communicate effectively with drivers to provide support, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and delivery schedules.
- Generate regular reports on fleet performance, operational costs, and efficiency metrics for management review.
- Address and resolve any operational challenges or incidents promptly to maintain smooth fleet operations.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle utilization, maintenance history, and fuel consumption for reporting and analysis.
