- 3 Years' experience post trade on earth-moving equipment.

- Knowledge of earth-moving machinery systems.
- Expertise in diagnosing/troubleshooting faults in diesel engines and equipment.
- Proficiency in performing preventative/corrective maintenance.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Skill in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Understanding of safety procedures for heavy equipment.
- Competence in repairing/overhauling diesel engine components.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Valid driver's license.
- Computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
- Experience with maintenance management systems (preferred).

**Job Specification**:

- **The HEM/Diesel Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of heavy-duty earth-moving equipment. This includes**:_
- Conducting inspections to identify potential problems and damage.
- Troubleshooting and repairing faulty components and systems.
- Performing preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
- Completing necessary reports and documentation.
