CTP Cartons and Labels have a vacancy available for a Risk Manager. The successful incumbent will be responsible to maintain the site compliance in terms of the OHSA, COIDA and Environmental legislation.

**The successful incumbent will be** **responsible for**:

- Ensuring compliance with SHE regulations;
- Maintain fire safety standards and requirements;
- Ensure continuous risk assessment practices are maintained;
- Managing site maintenance and utilities;
- Investigate accidents and give feedback to management;
- Identify report and provide solutions regarding safety programs, new OHSA,

COIDA and Environmental legislation;
- Ensure all legislative training is done;
- Regular site checks to audit if the company is in an acceptable standard of health,

safety, hygiene and good housekeeping;
- Management of Security and external contractors;
- Coordinate all Health and Safety training;
- Conduct investigations on all accidents and incidents;
- Arrange with external service providers to carry out surveys;
- Conducting Health and Safety meetings

**The successful incumbent will require the following skills, but are not limited to the following**:

- Implementation of ISO 14001 and 18001
- Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Waste Management
- Implementation of COIDA and Environmental legislation
- Conduct of meetings, investigations, inspections, audits and quality control
- Implementation of safety management system

**The Minimum Requirements for this role is**:

- Diploma/ Degree in Safety Management
- Samtrac and Nosa qualification;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Risk Manager;
- Minimum 5 years’ SHE Management experience;
- Computer literacy in Outlook, Word and Excel.
