Senior Manager, Risk

**The role**
Good risk and control management is the foundation of excellent performance and is a characteristic of a high performing business. We are seeking a senior manager to drive the strengthening of our Financial Crime risk and control environment. The role will also play a leading and highly active role in developing our wider Risk Management Framework.
This will include the ownership of regulatory compliant Financial Crime risk assessments and local Operational risk assessments as part of our enterprise-wide strategy.
**Key responsibilities**
**Skills / experience**
- Must have several years experience in a relevant risk or compliance role. -Must have extensive, demonstrable experience of thought leadership, development and practical implementation of a Risk Management Framework; including those related to Financial Crime. -Must have extensive technical experience of performing risk assessments, specifically Financial Crime and Operational Risk Assessments. -Ideally will have experience of Alternative Asset products and Fund Administration services and processes. -Ideally will have a qualification in Risk Management or Financial Crime through an industry recognised body. -Excellent communication and engagement skills - written and oral - at senior leadership levels. -Ability to work collaboratively with numerous stakeholders to understand their business drivers, concerns and material risks. -Strong organisational skills with an ability to work on your own and in a remote team and reprioritise your workstack to suit changing business priorities and tight timelines.
