A Head of Retail & Health Care sought for a well-established geo-spatial analytics solutions entity
When it comes to technology enabled insights and geo-spatial analytics solutions, this is the go-to service provider for private, listed, and public businesses across the continent. Constant innovation in various specialties from retail, property, and investment sectors, their services include everything from feasibility, planning, evaluations, benchmarking, and business intelligence
Although well established & with good financial investment to back them, the remain a family-orientated small business which creates a nimble and flexible working methodology.
One of their busiest and most rapidly expanding service lines is in the Retail and Healthcare sector. A rare opportunity has arisen for a Sector Head for this 4-man strong team. To service an impressive existing client base, they are looking for an individual to oversee the rollouts of specialist market feasibility reports & demand forecast models, all the while leveraging digital products to keep clients engaged by anticipating their needs. Knowledge of the retail & hospitality industries as well client experience are vital to succeed in this role.
Focus:

- Drive the technology and data strategy of the business forward.
- Set applicable methodologies to collect, analyze, interrogate, and interpret data in line with company standards.
- Supervise in-house team of retail/healthcare/data experts.
- Manage the delivery of assigned projects in line with specific Key Performance Indicator parameters (time, quality, cost, value).
- Business Development and client interaction to increase sales traction.
- Work with in-house digital team and CEO to innovate offering, especially focused on technical improvement of ways of doing things.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Property, Town & Regional Planning, Business, GIS, or a related field is required.
- ±10 years of experience working within the retail research/consulting space.
- High proficiency with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Previous exposure to feasibility studies vital.
- Ability to ‘think retail’ coupled with experience of working on retail and/or medical projects.
- Statistics, Geo Information Science experience will be highly beneficial
- Foundational understanding of data science with exposure to Microsoft PowerBi and Alteryx will be preferred.
