**Job Description - Internal Sales Representative**

Location: Midrand, Johannesburg

Compensation: Market related

Digit FMS is a Fleet Management and Security Solutions specialist company with over 100 franchises across Southern Africa.

Our Fleet Management product range includes: Vehicle tracking for Fleet Management, Fuel Management, Vehicle Camera Systems.

Our Security Solutions product range includes: Ajax Wireless Alarms, Chilli Pepper alarms, CCTV and access control solutions, a wide variety of drones for commercial use.

**About the role**

The successful incumbent will be required to handle the internal sales function over a wide range of products. Responsible for upselling new products to existing clients by creating customer awareness of Digit products and services.

**Responsibilities**

At Digit FMS, your work will directly contribute to us achieving our long-term ambitions. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Contacting leads and/or existing Digit FMS clients and setting up appointments to present company products.
- Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
- Demonstrating product features to customers.
- Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
- Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
- Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
- Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
- Staying informed about competing products and services.
- Upselling products and services.
- Preparing sales proposals for potential buyers.
- Preparing various daily and monthly reports

**Qualification and Other Requirements**:

- Matric / Grade 12 - prerequisite
- Must be fluent and well-spoken in both English and Afrikaans languages
- Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong listening and sales skills.
- Ability to achieve targets.
- Sales in a security related industry

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Language**:

- Afrikaans (preferred)
