Duties/Pligte
- Delivering psychological services to students, prospective students as well as scholars (Grade R to 7), including psychometric assessment, academic counselling, career development counselling and psychotherapy;
- Presenting workshops;
- Writing psychological reports;
- Conducting intake interviews;
- Performing administrative tasks;
- Participating in individual and group supervision;
- Case presentations;
- Relevant research to support case work;
- Participating in the CSCD's crisis service.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- Proof of registration, or proof of successful completion of a structured Master's programme in Counselling Psychology;
- A completed module in Career Counselling at Master's level;
- A scientific-practical approach to the development of essential skills to foster student success;
- Knowledge and experience with regards to therapeutic interventions of younger children and parents;
- Experience in compiling and facilitating group sessions;
- Upon appointment, registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Intern Psychologist in Counselling Educational Psychology;
- Computer proficiency;
- The ability to work under pressure;
- The ability to work effectively in a team;
- The ability to work according to a fixed schedule in a structured environment and deliver a quality service.
- Bewys van registrasie, of bewys van voltooiing van 'n gestruktureerde Magisterprogram in Voorligtingsielkunde;
- 'n Voltooide module in Loopbaanvoorligting op Magistervlak;
- 'n Wetenskaplik-praktiese benadering tot die ontwikkeling van noodsaaklike vaardighede om studentesukses te bevorder;
- Kennis van die Kinderwet Nr 38 van 2005 en die toepassing daarvan;
- Kennis van en ervaring in terapeutiese intervensies met jonger kinders en ouers;
- Ervaring in die samestelling en fasilitering van groepswerksessies;
- Op datum van indiensname, registrasie by die Raad vir Gesondheidsberoepe van Suid-Afrika (RGBSA) as Internsielkundige in Voorligtingsielkunde;
- Rekenaarvaardigheid;
- Die vermoë om onder druk te werk;
- Die vermoë om effektief in spanverband te werk;
- Die vermoë om volgens 'n vasgestelde skedule in 'n gestruktureerde omgewing 'n kwaliteitdiens te lewer.

Recommendation/Aanbeveling
- Work experience within a multidisciplinary professional team;
- Above average written and verbal proficiency in English and one other official South African language.
- Werksevaring as lid van 'n multidissiplinêre professionele span;
- Bogemiddelde skriftelike en mondelinge taalvaardigheid in Engels sowel as een van die ander amptelike tale in Suid-Afrika.
