Manager : Employee Relations

**Safair Operations, operating as **Flysafair**, has a vacancy for a Manager: Employee Relations at our head office in **Bonaero** **Park.**
**The successful applicant will report to the **Executive Manager: HR & Corporate Services.**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- **Managing all activities relating to Industrial and Employee Relations;**:
- **Draft ,review and and ensure compliance with all HR/IR policies;**:
- **Provide Legislative Training to all staff;**:
- **Coordinate and manage employee disciplinary process and grievances, counselling and conflict resolution processes;**:
- **Working closely with all internal stakeholders across various departments to establish strong relationships and ensure all issues are highlighted and addressed in a speedy manner;**:
- **Draft ,interpret and administer relevant agreements;**:
- **Act as a liason between the company and union representatives and actively engage in building sound union relations;**:
- **Facilitate all internal employees forums;**:
- **Actively engage and facilitate all labour relations processes;**:
- **Represent the company on all matters at the CCMA;**:
- **Actively engage with Labour Consultant/Lawyers;**:
- **Identify and report IR related risks to management;**:
- **Weekly / Monthly Management Reporting ;**:
- **Maintaining relevant modules on HRIS system ( SAGE 300)**

**REQUIREMENTS**
- **Matric Certificate;**:
- **Degree in Human Resources Management, IR or related field;**
**- 5 - 10 years’ experience in HR/IR in a mid-sized organization with a specific focus on employee and labour relations;**
- **3 years’ experience in a specialist, preferably management role;**:
- **In-depth knowledge of labour laws and practices;**:
- **Experience in Microsoft office (with exceptional skills in Excel) essential and in HR Information Systems (preferable Sage People 300);**:
- **Demonstrated skills and experience in dealing with unions and the CCMA;**
**Ad hoc travel is expected to destination airports and the CCMA as required.**
