**Job Advert Summary**: Our client is looking for Sales Cinsultant: Life to support the compay Insurance partners and intermediaries to market, sell and deliver company Insurance products to the target market. Engage with Executive Manager ,Sales,MD, Agree to the sales targets to advance overall business targets **Minimum Requirements**: Preferred Minimum Education and Experience - "NQF 4 Qualification or Equivalent Qualification (1 Year) and FAIS Representative - B Com (Accounting/Insurance) or equivalent" - **Critical Competencies**: - Advanced Microsoft Office - Ability to navigate FSCA site and verify intermediary credentials - Knowledge and understanding of the insurance products and services available to the agricultural industry to stay abreast of the industry with attractive agricultural insurance products and services - Knowledge and understanding of the elements and instruments utilised in sound financial planning activities - Knowledge of Short term and long term insurance industry - Knowledge of relevant legislation applicable to insurance companies such as FAIS Act, Short and long term Insurance Acts, Insurance Acts - Marketing skills: The business activity of presenting products or services in such a way as to make them desirable - **Additional Requirements**: - Travel extensively - Extended hours as and when required **Duties and Responsibilities**: Key Performance Areas - **Achievement of Sales targets in the designated Sales Channel** - Consult the strategy and roadmap of LBI to determine the objectives and targets to be achieved. - Independently make decisions. - Engage with Executive Manager ,Sales,MD, Agree to the sales targets to advance overall business targets - Monitor the sales activities to ensure that targets are achieved and Institute corrective steps when targets are not met - Assist relevant partners in the formulation and execution of sales strategy - Compile the relevant reports and submit to the relevant role players within allocated time frames - Manage and negotiate sales contracts/agency agreements with partners in accordance with policies, procedures and legal requirements - **Manage Stakeholder Relationships** - Identify the relevant role players in accordance with business requirements and dependencies - Set-up meetings with the role players, Drive negotiations, Obtain mutual agreement on the resolution of issues, and the delivery of inter-dependent outputs and results - Document all interactions - Independently monitor the performance of all relevant role players continuously to ensure that the agreements are honoured - Inform the relevant role players of the outcomes, deviations and actions required - Manage relationships in accordance with policies, procedures and legal requirements - Manage relationships within the allocated time frame - Provide Support to relevant parties on Insurance Products including training and Marketing - Manage Branding, Advertising and Events for each Channel / Partner - **Provide Support to Sales Staff on Insurance Products** - Receive and analyse a request for support to determine the nature and extent of the support to be provided; or - Analyse Provided information to develop solutions and guide resolution process within allocated time frame - Attend exhibitions and shows - Implement and monitor the support actions/solution in accordance with procedures and test to ensure that the solution is functional - Provide feedback and support to the relevant role players within the allocated time frame and in accordance with policies, procedures and legal requirements - **Marketing** - Have a Marketing Plan for each partner to sell existing products and launch new products - Determine the requirements related to the selling and launching of new/improved products - Plan the campaigns required to implement the new/improved products in terms of - Manage the launching and selling of the products in accordance with policies, procedures and legal requirements - Manage launching and selling of products within allocated time frames - **Manage Branding, Advertising and Events for each channel/partner** - Determine the branding requirements - Allocate the branding actions to the relevant role players - Ensure that the branding is completed in accordance with the LBIS Corporate Identity - Manage the branding actions within allocated time frames - Co-ordinate relevant agricultural events with the company Marketing Department
