It’s an exciting time to be part of IFF. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to become part of our industry-leading Operations team, based in South Africa.

We’re looking for a Picker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible to ensure the timely, accurate, and thorough systematic receipt of materials into the finished goods warehouse, in order to support shipping requirements. Ensure Audits are carried out and necessary documents are completed and kept in an orderly condition. Ensure IFF Procedures are followed for ILVT (Isolate, Link, Verify and Transfer) when labelling.

Scope:
Supervise the Receiving, picking and loading of stock in shipping goods warehouse. Supervise Transporter loading stock and Security Team checking stock before dispatching.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and locate material from production, complete location sheets accordingly
- Liaise and interact daily with relevant departments for received finished goods and ensure full quantity is located with shipping
- Pick stocks for shipping as per ZFIS created by dispatch controller
- Print shipping labels and Re-label stocks as needed with customer shipping label and follow ILVT procedure when labelling
- Create Transfer Order and create shipping documents, conduct Post Goods Issue and invoice stock accordingly, also ensure that all copies of Invoices are correctly distributed as per IFF Isando requirements
- Attach relevant Product Certificate of Analysis to containers, also adhere to special customer requirements regarding packaging
- Ensure final packaging as per IFF Standards and customer requirements are adhered to
- Load “picked” stock onto IFF’S designated logistics vehicle or customer collection vehicle and ensure shipping docs are endorsed as per IFF’S Isando’s requirements
- Co-ordinate shipping of tolled materials onto logistics designated vehicle
- Co-ordinate daily with Transporter and Security Team
- Accept customer returns and co-ordinate as per IFF Returns process
- Be active participant in FSSC, HACCP, GMP
- Perform any other reasonable and lawful duties as required by the company.
- Understand Environmental Awareness and attend Environmental training as required by EHS.

Other Requirements:
1. Minimum of 1 year’s dispatch and outbound supply-chain experience.
2. Must be Computer Literate
3. Must have knowledge of basic MATHS.
4. Able to use fork and drum lifts, pallet movers,
5. Must be able to push / pull 500 pounds.
6. Good verbal and written communication skills.
7. Must have Matric

IT Systems and Business Processes used in the role: e.g. BW, SAP Fico etc. List and include level of prior knowledge or training required.
