**Job Purpose**
- The Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to render a Supply Chain Management (“SCM”) service for goods and services that incorporates demand management, acquisition management and contract management.

**Minimum Requirements**
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 1-year administrative experience.

**Recommendation**
- A relevant 2-years Supply Chain Management/Financial Management experience.

**Key Performance Areas**
- Demand Management; Acquisition Management; Contract Management; Logistics and Payments; Filing and Database Management; General Administration.

**Competencies**
- Knowledge of the following: PFMA; Supply Chain Management; Procurement Prescripts; Skills needed: Computer literacy in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Communication (written and verbal); Excellent report writing; Problem Solving; Analytical; Organising and Planning.

**Remuneration**
- R 376 413- R 443 403 per annum (Salary level 8)
