Internal Auditor

**Minimum Requirements**
- B. Com degree or equivalent qualification;
- Minimum 5 years credible and relevant experience,
- Industry related certification e.g. CA, CIA or CPA - Advantageous
- Strong Project Management Skills;
- Infallible Report Writing Skills;
- Extensive knowledge of industry program policies, procedures, regulations and laws
- Extensive knowledge of the Standards for the Professional Practise of Internal Auditing and the IIA Code of Ethics
- Sound knowledge of legislation including PFMA & MFMA, King III, Treasury Regulations;
- Analytical and Problem Solving skills;
- Computer Literacy.
- Practical proven experience in the public sector /municipal environment.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Audit Planning, Execution and Report writing.
- Identify risks and internal controls already implemented.
- Evaluate the adequacy of controls.
- Recommend the most appropriate controls, aligned to policies and procedures.
- Conduct audit testing of specified processes to test the adequacy of the design and operational effectiveness of controls.
- Prepare draft internal audit reports on assigned areas;
- Conducting Internal Audit Reviews;
- Lead discussions in securing management comments on draft internal audit findings raised by the rest of the audit team;
- Ensure timeous Implementation of Annual Internal Audit Plan as approved by the Audit

Contract length: 3 months
**Salary**: R10 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
