**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to**:

- Perform tasks involving physical labour on sites, projects and work shop
- Balances team responsibilities to contribute to a positive team spirit
- Communicate effectively in paperwork/ reports completed
- Delegating job tasks to team members.
- Ensure good supportive working relationships with team members, building the team and perform leadership skills.
- Assisting the team by performing the tasks with them.
- Providing assistance and support to team members and office.
- Reporting to site supervisor and management.
- Ensuring all safety documents, permits and associated support documents are completed in full and correctly as per the training supplied.
- Supervise and provide direction to contractors on site.
- React to information and create a safe working plan of the workplace.
- React to information and instructions to ensure the safe working plan of the workplace is carried out at all times.

- ordinate resources with internal and external contacts, to ensure work is delivered on time.
- Report unsafe work conditions to Site Supervisor immediately as it becomes known
- Report unsafe use of equipment, machinery, tools and materials to the Site Supervisor immediately as it becomes known.
- Complete work in time, increase productivity and ensuring that the site is safe and secure before-, during
- and after site has been completed.
- Assist supervisor and co - workers and ensure completion of all work and safety at all time
- Perform all work according to work orders
- Analyse orders to ensure quality and to ensure that the correct amount of material/ equipment has been dispatched/ delivered on site
- Assist to move all materials from storage area to work site and from work site back to safe and secure storage
- Operate hand and power tools and a variety of other equipment which you have been trained to use
- Clean and prepare sites, digging and remove hazardous waste
- Inspect, clean and prepare tools, power tools, equipment and machinery to eliminate possible hazards
- Assist construction site workers in erecting structures and demolition
- Unload and load construction materials, tools, machinery and equipment
- Barricading site and sections on site and clearing after job has been completed
- Distribute materials
- Paint and preparation work
- Install and erect scaffolding
- Remove debris
- Direct and control traffic in and around work zone
- Erect all Safety signage
- Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment
- Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance
- Oil and grease machinery and equipment
- Operate machinery and power tools(i.e but not limited to: pneumatic hammers, vibrators and Compactors)
- Housekeeping onsite and in office and workshop
- Work in varying weather conditions
- Ensure work is delivered on time
- Cleaning of Company Vehicle
- Permit holder job tasks and duties if trained
- Permit issuer for Caltex and Shell if trained
- Perform hot work according to Health and Safety policies and procedures and if trained.

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- in a similar position: 3 years (preferred)
- any supervisor position: 3 years (preferred)
- leading a team: 3 years (preferred)
