The Creditor Clerk’s role is to ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and to maintain accurate records and control reports.
- Specific duties include but not limited to;_
- Prepares Creditors Reconciliations
- Reporting on creditors due, overdue, and paid in advance.
- Storing of Creditors Related Documents.
- Communication with Staff Members.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring response to Creditor’s queries within a reasonable time.
- Making payments to Creditors as per the company policies and Creditors terms.
- Creating and Maintaining Beneficiaries on the FNB Banking system.
- Allocation of payments on Beneficiary accounts.
- Creating Purchase orders for Expense and Capital items.
- Following up on all COD payments made in advance.
- Sending Proof of payments and remittances to suppliers once payment has been released.
- Capturing of all expense invoices, in the relevant month, once approved.
- Keeping and storing all Creditors documentation as per requirements in order to be able to access this with ease.
- Reporting on Accounts Payable balances, Advance payments and Payments Made.
- Supplier reconciliations to be done and submitted by the 21st of the month in order to plan payments accordingly.

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or similar financial role with Contracts experience
- Knowledge of accounting policies and a wide variety of general ledgers
- Coordinating activities that affect financial and operational decisions and business requirements
- Understanding of Accounting Systems
- Ability to Manage Time and Workload Effectively
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Degree in finance, accounting, auditing, or related field would be beneficial
- The ability to adapt and drive change within the parameters of ever-changing business phenomena
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: R12,000.00 - R14,000.00 per month
