**Job Summary**:
The Production Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day manufacturing operations of the harness production line. This role will be responsible for coordinating and supervising production activities, ensuring that production targets are met, and maintaining quality and safety standards. The Production Supervisor will also be responsible for leading and motivating a team of production workers to maximize efficiency and productivity.

**Responsibilities**:
**Supervise Production Team**:
Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production workers to ensure that they perform their duties efficiently and effectively.

Provide training and guidance to production staff as needed to improve skills and performance.

**Coordinate Production Activities**:
Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and production targets.

Monitor production processes and adjust schedules or resources as needed to optimize efficiency.

**Ensure Quality Standards**:
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that finished products meet quality standards and specifications.

Conduct regular inspections of products and production processes to identify and address quality issues.

**Maintain Safety Standards**:
Ensure that all production activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a culture of safety awareness among production staff.

**Continuous Improvement**:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the production line.

Implement and support initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in harness manufacturing.

Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with production staff, management, and other stakeholders.

Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards relevant to manufacturing operations.

Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
