Role Purpose

The Legal Advisor Graduate programme is aimed at providing the successful incumbent with exposure in financial planning & technical support relating to risk, investments & fiduciary solutions in both individual & business market.
Requirements

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- B-degree in Law and/or Financial Planning or LLB (essential)
- CFP would be advantageous.
- RE Exams would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite including excel etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Investigating and finding ways to implement the Momentum Distribution Services (MDS) financial planning and advice strategy.
- Effective and consistent service delivery and support to external client ensuring service level agreements are met and or exceeded.
- Engagement/Retention of MDS within current portfolio.
- Build trust relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support and perform holistic financial planning for medium to high income market by providing quality advice to clients.
- Interpreting and having insight into financial information.
- In conjunction with consultant and leaders, work through member base as lead source to conduct financial planning and advice.
- Prepare Financial Needs Analysis, Plan and Reviews where required.
- Complete and compile a hoc reports and quotations timeously as and when required.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance to applicable legislation.
- Prepare compliance related documentation.
- Conduct quality assurance and oversight over representatives under supervision.
- Ensure sound financial advice is given through the financial planning process.
- Provide a research function for the financial advisors and assist in collecting relevant data.
