Gis Specialist

**Overview**:

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of a B.Sc. Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
- A B.Sc. in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Honours will be advantageous

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years working experience in a relevant field
- Experience using ESRI ArcGIS software products
- Experience building ESRI Dashboards and web maps
- Experience scripting in Python
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Project management skills

**Duties**:

- Analyse spatial database information
- Collect field data from clients and through observation
- Develop custom and standard maps and prepare maps for implementation
- Develop and maintain GIS databases
- Working with the agronomic field team (support and training)
- Remote sensing data management
- Translating raw data into agricultural solutions and marketing thereof
- Develop and maintain ESRI Dashboards
