**Solar Electrician - Position Description**

Location: Somerset West Head office with operational area of 80km radius.

Department: Commercial and Residential Solar PV

We are an established solar company experiencing exponential growth looking for a professional solar PV electrician with at least 2 years’ experience.

Please send CV, copies of certificates of educational accomplishments, references and a cover photograph (head and shoulders).

**Key responsibilities**

Carry out installation of solar PV systems, including electrical wiring, mounting of inverters and panels, mounting of Panels.

Work directly with Ecologic staff, contractors, consultants and partners, providing pre/post-sales support, training and advice on solar PV design and installation requirements and standards

Adhere to all health and safety requirements

**Key Competencies**

Experience installing panels using good health and safety

Good knowledge of PV solar industry or willingness to learn

Self-motivated with good time management skills and ability to priorities your workload

Focus on customer service

Good initiative and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information

A smart appearance and professional manner

Passionate about the environment and solar energy

**Qualifications**

Working at Heights certificate

Driver’s license

**Remuneration**

Dependent on qualifications and experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R7,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

- Solar PV: 3 years (required)
