**1.** **Warehouse Management**
- Managing day-to-day planning and activity of the warehouse.
- Management of Warehouse requirements
- Management of staff administration, manage staff compliment to ensure that maximum productivity is gained.
- Effectively communicate with staff to ensure full understanding of warehouse operations and the employee’s role in maximising productivity.
- Coach employees who are not fulfilling the performance requirements of their role.
- Ensure that staff action all instructions received by the warehouse manager.
- Effective communication and interaction with all customers.

**2.** **Safety and Regulations**
- Adhere to all company Health & Safety regulations throughout are of responsibility.
- All company policies & procedures must be adhered to at all times.
- Report incidents or accidents immediately.
- Ensure that all warehouse staff wear the correct PPE at all times, if not, address the issue with the respective employee immediately.
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse by reporting when you see anything out of the ordinary.
- Ensure that all forklift operators carry their licences with them at all times.

**3.** **Processes and Procedures**
- Deploy any company specific projects in line with company standards and in agreement with Management.
- Ensure that all warehouse activities meet quality expectations.
- Ensure the free flow of goods being imported and exported and minimising any delay to the daily operations at the Warehouse.
- Control and manage the inbound and outbound processes within the warehouse.
- Coordinate the staff and equipment in the warehouse in order to maximise utilisation, productivity and customer service.
- Monitor planned day to day warehouse operations and direct activities as required to ensure customer needs are being met and service levels are maintained.
- Brief all staff and supervisors on a daily basis as to the daily requirements and plan.
- Brief staff as to any special instructions required by clients and ensure that these instructions are carried out to the exact requirements of the client.
- Ensure that all stacking height regulations are adhered to and managed to ensure that losses do not occur.
- Oversee the cleanliness of the warehouse facility, ensure that compliance with cleaning, forklifts and equipment is followed.
- Oversee the fumigation activities.
- On a daily basis monitor the receiving & dispatching accuracy of all receipts to ensure that no time is lost.

**Salary**: R65,000.00 - R80,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
