A vacancy exists in the Pietermaritzburg office of a national firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors for an Accounting Supervisor to commence duties as soon as possible.

**Main Responsibilities**

To run the project that they are placed on which encompasses employee management and project management. They are directly involved in the day to day activities on the accounting assignment and mainly perform execution of the project and reviewing of work of accounting team.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Overseeing and reviewing of cashbooks
- Compilation of Annual Financial Statements and management accounts
- Completions of Vat workings and submissions and reconciliations
- Payroll calculations and submissions
- Payroll Reconciliation and submissions of EMP 501 on easy file
- Individual tax computations
- Manage accounting staff and a portfolio of clients
- Review of compilation of Annual Financial Statements
- Preparation and review of income tax calculations for entities
- Communicate with clients

**Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience**
- BCom degree or equivalent
- Atleast 3-4 years working experience in an accounting environment
- Proficient in Caseware and Pastel
- Valid South African driver’s license
- Own transport

- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: From R12 000,00 per month
