Sanlam Developing Markets [SDM] (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanlam Life Limited) is one of the top financial services providers in the South African entry-level and emerging middle market. In terms of the Sanlam Group Governance Policy, SDM is managed by the SA Retail Mass cluster, which is part of the Sanlam Life and Savings cluster within the Sanlam Group. The cluster focusses on retail products, as well as group schemes. What will you do?
Responsible for development and coordination of risk management programmes and ensures that risk management programmes are designed to identify risk exposures at a process level and perform a risk and control self-assessment to determine the residual risk which must be controlled by means of internal control measures. Through the proper implementation of risk assessment programmes, management can be provided with accurate risk information for effective decision-making on internal controls. Collect risk information and draft reports to management on losses and risk exposures. What will make you successful in this role? Qualification and Experience Degree or Diploma with 6 to 8 years related experience.
