Duties/PligteManaging daily LabWare LIMS-associated laboratory operations, e.g. sample management, client projects and equipment, reagent inventory, document control, IT support, and logistics.- Configurating LIMS according to laboratory requirements.- Providing LIMS training for laboratory staff.- Troubleshooting LIMS issues.- Performing validation / verification of data entry into LIMS.- Drawing reports (turnaround, inventory, equipment, etc.) to ensure compliance with the laboratory management system requirements.- Managing testing and implementation of LabWare LIMS updates.- Identifying opportunities for LIMS improvements.- Developing and implementing SOPs to optimise workflows and quality processes.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- A minimum relevant NQF level 7 qualification in Biological Science or Information Technology.
- At least five years' technical experience working with LabWare Laboratory Information Management Systems or similar LIMS.
- Proven experience in laboratory information management operations.
- LIMS Administration Skills
- LIMS Basic Programming Skills
- Crystal Reports certification or equivalent
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., SQL, Crystal syntax and Basic syntax).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective communication skills
- Must be capable of working under limited supervision, able to evaluate operating conditions, and exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, willing to learn.
